This rising trend can be attributed to high labor costs and labor shortages, as well as the continued need for product quality and consistency. This can be enhanced through the automation of repetitive tasks. As a result, equipment manufacturers, corporate innovation labs and venture capitalists are investing heavily in this new sector.
