Fortress Technology Increases Detector Performance with New FM Software
April 4, 2014 – Fortress Technology, a global leader in the manufacture of metal detector systems, is pleased to announce the world wide release of their revolutionary FM software for Fortress Metal Detectors. This software has been developed to be compatible with all previously manufactured Fortress detectors and can be field installed on their Phantom and Stealth models.

This can significantly improve performance in certain applications, including large bags, by at least 40%. “This is great news for our existing customers who need to achieve better sensitivities to satisfy FSMA or customer specification requirements” says Steve Gidman, president of Fortress Technology.
